Summer Schools
NTU offers a range of part funded and fully funded international summer school opportunities which take place over July or August for 4 weeks.
These summer schools provide the opportunity to enhance your academic, personal and professional skills in just a few weeks. It also gives you the chance to expand your global outlook make connections around the world.

International Exchange Semester
Some Masters level courses give students the opportunity to study abroad as part of their degree programme. Please be aware these opportunities are limited. You can study abroad if you are on the following course:

Study Tours and Field Trips
Some of the courses at NBS offer one week study tours integrated into their curriculum. They are an excellent way of looking at a specific aspect of your business studies from a different angle within a European context.
Locations are decided on a yearly basis. Other departments may offer international field trips to conduct research. Please contact your course leader for more information.
International Work Placements
Some postgraduate courses offer students the opportunity to undertake a work placement abroad. International work placements will really boost your CV and take your career to new horizons.

Global Lounges and Global Week
The Global Lounges are open to all NTU students and colleagues. These dedicated spaces are based on-campus to provide flexible opportunities to internationalise your CV and broaden your horizons.
In February, the Global Lounge team hosts our annual festival Global Week which showcases our rich cultural community through arts and crafts, dancing, music, sport and food. It connects and celebrates the diverse cultural heritages of our students and staff, providing everyone at the NTU community an opportunity to extend their global outlook.

Become a Global Summer School Buddy
NTU Global Summer School invites university students from all over the world to come to NTU and study one of 19 short courses offered by our academics. Alongside their course is an exciting social and cultural programme to allow them to see more of Nottingham and the UK and make friends and network.
As a postgraduate student, you can apply to become a Summer School Buddy to help welcome our students, join activities and even attend a course (worth £1200) for free. For more information contact globalsummer@ntu.ac.uk.
