By underground

The closest underground Tube stations to NTU London are Whitechapel and Aldgate East (District, Hammersmith and City lines), and Shadwell (DLR, Overground). All are a 10 minute walk away. You’ll find all the information you need on the Transport for London's Tube information and journey planner.

By train

London has several major train terminals (including King’s Cross/St Pancras, Euston, Paddington, Victoria and Liverpool Street), which are serviced by trains from around the UK. Further information on travelling by train is available on the National Rail website.

The Tube, buses and taxis can all be used for onward travel from the major train stations.

If you are getting a taxi from a train station, only use registered, metered taxis from taxi ranks and confirm the approximate price before starting the journey.

By bus

NTU London is served by many Transport for London bus routes.

Buses travelling from East to West (towards Liverpool Street or Tower Hill) stop at the Henriques Street Stop U opposite NTU London on Commercial Road.

Buses travelling from West to East (towards Limehouse) stop at the Henriques Street Stop P outside NTU London on Commercial Road.

By car

Driving in London can often be in heavy traffic, so public transport is often a faster way of getting around.

NTU London is currently outside the Congestion Charge zone, but inside the ULEZ and LEZ and DVS scheme areas, but depending on the route you take, you might go through the Congestion Charge zone. Chargeable parking is available nearby at the NCP on Whitechapel High Street (E1 7RA) and Minories NCP Car Park (E1 8LP).
