The votes are in for this year’s ‘Grads In Games Awards’ and our students and tutors are among those being recognised.

Grads In Games Awards

Grads in Games celebrates the people, studios and institutions that have made a real impact improving the links between the games industry and education.

This year’s ‘Student Hero Award’ has gone to third year Games Art student, Ellouisa Wallace-O’Neill. Ellouisa is especially proud as not only did Rockstar Games, developers of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, present her with the award, she’s also had her original artwork displayed on the wall in our digital media hub, Confetti HQ.

Thank you to Grads in Games for hosting these awards, and Rockstar Games for sponsoring the award I received! Everyone involved in games should absolutely check out some of the wonderful events Grads in Games hosts”

Meanwhile, we are delighted to announce that our HE Games Art Lecturer in Sculpting and Modelling, Shiloh Ragins, has won the ‘Games Academic (HE) Award’. The award was presented to Shiloh by our friends at Sumo Digital, a video game developer famous for such titles as Sonic Team Racing, and the Forza Motorsport franchise.
