Published: 11/07/2025
NTU is proud to once again take part in Nottinghamshire Pride 2025, marching in solidarity and celebration with our LGBTQ+ students, colleagues, alumni, and wider community.

As a University committed to inclusivity, diversity, and equality, Pride is more than just a parade for us, it’s a vibrant expression of unity, visibility, and love. By participating, we proudly reaffirm our ongoing dedication to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Walk with Pride: step up for inclusion with NTU Moves and EDI
In the lead-up to the Pride march, NTU Moves is launching a Pride walking challenge that invites you to get active while showing your support for Nottingham’s LGBTQ+ community. Whether you're walking solo or in a group, every step is a chance to demonstrate solidarity, encourage conversation, and show meaningful allyship.
You're encouraged to wear or carry visual symbols of support during your walk, such as rainbow laces, Pride flags, or pronoun badges to help spark dialogue.
This challenge not only promotes physical wellbeing, but also creates an opportunity to raise awareness, show genuine allyship, and help foster an inclusive and supportive culture across NTU.
Visit NTU Moves to register, take part and get moving for a cause!
If you have any questions about these activities, please get in touch with the EDI team.
