In support of World Environment Day - which was on Sunday 5 June - we're joining a campaign with the University of Nottingham and residents across Nottinghamshire to connect with nature and help promote biodiversity across the county.

This year’s theme is #OnlyOneEarth. This is the only Earth we have, and we must do all we can to look after it. By lots of us coming together to take action for nature, our small actions can add up to make a big difference.

What's happening?

For the whole of June, you’ll be able to take part in the campaign via the Green Rewards platform, alongside 30+ other sustainability and wellbeing activities.

Get involved by submitting a photo to the biodiversity photo competition, joining the peoples' nature reserve by pledging to leave some of your garden to grow wild, or learning about the Wildlife Trust’s #30DaysWild campaign. The winner of the biodiversity photo competition will receive a National Trust membership.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a garden or green space near you – there are still lots of ways you can take part through the platform!

How to take part
