Black Bullion pop-up stands

Here’s some great news that you may not know:

We’re partnered with Blackbullion, the financial wellbeing platform for students. You can sign up to the platform for free. You can sign up to the platform for free. Blackbullion is on a mission to make the world money smart.

The platform is full of practical financial education and additional sources of funding to help you:

  • develop your money skills and confidence.
  • maximise your opportunities.
  • start growing your financial wellbeing.

This week, NTU Student Financial Support will be at all of our campuses to promote Blackbullion and talk to you about the financial support available to you.

Health and wellbeing

Eat, Breathe, Thrive course

This seven week course will help you to learn essential coping skills for mental health, body image and eating habits. Starting on Wednesday 26 October.

Mindfulness courses

From everyday activities, such as walking whilst paying attention to what’s around you to formal meditation practice, mindfulness comes in many shapes and sizes. Mindfulness has been proven to give you skills and insights into the way you think about the things that worry you and cause you stress. It has been proven to help you respond more calmly and skilfully to challenging situations. We are offering a four week course, with the option to carry on for a further 4 weeks. The course starts on Monday 17 October.

Healthy relationships workshops

We're working with our NHS partners to bring you these workshops on campus. The workshop will cover everything you need to know about healthy relationships, including sexual health, sexual health testing, access to services and other aspects of being in a healthy relationships.

  • Wednesday 23 November, 1 pm - 2.30 pm, Clifton Campus

Student Minds, Look After Your Mates workshops

The workshops covers how to support a student's and a mate's mental health and this is national recognised training.

Safety and Wellbeing Fairs

The Safety and Wellbeing Fairs have been set up to provide students with a chance to learn about all the support services they can access, as well as getting information and advice. The fairs will be supported by both NTU, and Nottinghamshire Health & Safety Services.

  • Tuesday 25 October, 10 am - 2 pm, Pavillion, Clifton Campus

Please come along and meet the services, ask questions, get involved in activities and pick up freebies. The fairs are free, and we hope you will be better informed about the great support that is available to you for your health, wellbeing and safety.
