Have you received this yearbook phishing email?

Published: 23/05/2023

The University has received reports of a phishing scam that is currently targeting NTU students.

Yearbook phishing scam

Students have been sent emails inviting them to sign up for a NTU 2022/23 yearbook. This is not a legitimate email from NTU, and we do not have a relationship with ‘uniyearbook.com’ or any other yearbook provider.

The link in the email leads to an online form that will collect the personal data of those who fall for this phishing scam. This includes bank account information that could be used by criminals to make fraudulent charges on your bank account.

We advise that you:

  • do not follow the link within the email.
  • do not provide any of your personal data or banking details.
  • do not make any payments to ‘uniyearbook.com’.
  • do delete the email.
  • do inform others that this is a malicious email.

If you believe you have fallen victim to this scam, please get in touch with the Digital Technologies service desk or email the team.
