NTU Green Rewards – new features for 2025

Our students are making a big difference through the NTU Green Rewards programme. By logging sustainable actions and embracing green behaviours, 100,000 actions were completed between 2023 and 2024, avoiding 93,423 kg of carbon emissions and 66,654 kWh of energy.
New features for 2025
This year, the NTU Green Rewards app has been updated with a new interface. It’s now easier to navigate, log activities and track your own and your School’s progress.
Plus, new and refreshed activities have been added, such as improving your green skills, and saving carbon through a ‘digital declutter’.
Win prizes and rewards
Tracking your actions is not only rewarding for the planet—it can also earn you points for prizes.
Activities span categories like food and drink, travel and wellbeing. Simple actions like recycling, engaging with learning resources, or even taking a lunch break can help you earn points!
Each month, the top users will be entered into a raffle to win one of four £10 vouchers for sustainable outlets.
Additionally, for every 10-weekly reporting streak, you’ll receive a voucher for a free hot drink at our campus catering outlets.

There’s also a free app for iOS and Android which you can download by searching for ‘NTU; Green Rewards’ in your device’s app store.
