Free tickets to experience the BBC Concert Orchestra live as part of Soundstage Festival 2025

NTU’s latest collaboration with the world-famous BBC Concert Orchestra will take place as part of Nottingham’s Soundstage Festival – a celebration of film, TV and gaming music.

Performances on campus and at the Royal Concert Hall provide you with the opportunity to experience live orchestral music for free, or generously discounted.
Tuesday 25 March, Royal Concert Hall
South – 7 pm, tickets from £5 for U26s.
Bag a bargain £5 ticket to experience this brand-new score by legendary composer Neil Brand, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra to the original film of Ernest Shackleton’s 1914-16 Endurance expedition to Antarctica.
Journeys – 8.30 pm, free to all.
Sit back and enjoy a selection of short original silent films with accompanying bespoke scores, created by talented students from NTU and the University of Nottingham (UoN), performed by members of the BBC Concert Orchestra and conducted by Hugh Brunt.
Wednesday 26 March, Newton Central Court, City Campus
Screen Sounds – 7.30 pm, free to NTU students.
Grab a free ticket and join us live on campus for this one-of-a-kind performance by musicians from NTU, UoN and the BBC Concert Orchestra. This hour-long concert will feature some of the best-loved music of TV and film, from Bridgerton to Mission Impossible.
