Parking

Parking is free at University Centre at Vision West Notts (VWN) for NTU students. NTU parking is shared with VWN staff and students.

Blue badge holders

There are accessible parking spaces available to blue badge holders on the Mansfield Campus.

Please contact the car parking team to request accessible parking access for all campuses to be added to your student card.

By bike

The Ucycle student bike hire scheme is a great way for students to get around the University Campus. We have over 200 bikes available to hire for £49 a year, secure compounds for cycle parking at each campus, and support from the City Campus based workshop, where expert mechanics and advice is available.

By bus

Stagecoach Pronto tickets

In the 2023/24 academic year, you can use your NTU student card to purchase a discounted return ticket on the Stagecoach Pronto bus service between Victoria Centre Bus Station and Mansfield Campus. This reduces the price from £7.80 to £5, saving around 30%

Academic year Travel Pass

NTU students can purchase the Trentbarton West Notts College Travel Pass for just £259, which is valid between Monday 4 September 2023 – Friday 28 June 2024.

This offers unlimited bus travel across the majority of Nottingham and parts of Derbyshire, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. It's great value, with flexible payment options available. To purchase a pass, you will need to collect an Itso card from NTU Mansfield Reception, and you can then buy the pass online.

Give it a try – Trentbarton are offering two weeks of free travel on all cards from Monday 18 September – Sunday 1 October, whether you go on to purchase a pass or not.
