The Alternative Guide to PGR Funding
If you are a self-funded candidate or a final year funded candidate, you may be eligible for a scholarship, bursary or grant from an external funding body to support your studies.
The Alternative Guide Online (AGO) is a popular funding resource for current and prospective postgraduate students studying at UK universities. The site has a helpful search feature that allows you to narrow down potential funders based on eligibility and criteria.
PGR Hardship FundĀ
Sometimes the unexpected happens. You may be able to apply for financial support from the Postgraduate Hardship Fund.
If you are an international candidate, you may be able to apply to the NTU International / EU Hardship Fund. You may be eligible for emergency funding to contribute towards short-term living costs. Email for further information and a link to the application form.
