How much are my fees?
You'll pay tuition fees each academic year. The amount you pay will depend on your course of study and whether you're a home or international student. At NTU, we review our tuition fees every year.

UK home undergraduate students
Undergraduate home tuition fees, including the placement year and study abroad tuition fees, are subject to government policy and may change in future years of study.
The following fees apply to both new and continuing students
2025/26 Academic Year
Full-time undergraduate courses
For the following courses:
- Undergraduate courses
- Undergraduate courses with integrated foundation year (excluding Nottingham Business School)
The fee is: £9,535
For the following courses:
- Nottingham Business School undergraduate courses with integrated foundation year
The fee is:
Year 1: £5,760
Year 2 and above: £9535
Undergraduate placement fee
If you are studying an undergraduate sandwich degree that incorporates a placement year, the tuition fee for that year will depend on when your course started:
For those who started their course in 2023/24 or earlier, the fee is £1385
For those who started their course in 2024/25, the fee is £1,850
Undergraduate study abroad fee
If you are studying an undergraduate degree that incorporates a study abroad year, the tuition fee for that year will be £1,385.
Part-time undergraduate courses
Your tuition fee will vary depending on:
- the number of modules you study in an academic year
- the number of years you study your course over.
The maximum tuition fee for part-time undergraduate courses is £7,145. For further information on your part-time tuition fee, please contact your academic school.
2026/27 Academic Year
Full-time undergraduate courses
For the following courses:
- Undergraduate courses
- Undergraduate courses with integrated foundation year (excluding Nottingham Business School)
The fee is: £9,790
For the following courses:
- Nottingham Business School undergraduate courses with integrated foundation year
The fee is:
Year 1: £5,760
Year 2 and above: £9,790
Undergraduate placement fee
If you are studying an undergraduate sandwich degree that incorporates a placement year, the tuition fee for that year will depend on when your course started:
- For those who started their course in 2023/24 or earlier, the fee is £1385
- For those who started their course in 2024/25 or 2025/26, the fee is £1,850
- For those who start their course in 2026/27, the fee is £1,905
Undergraduate study abroad fee
If you are studying an undergraduate degree that incorporates a study abroad year, the tuition fee for that year will depend on when your course started:
- For those who started their course in 2025/26 or earlier, the fee is £1,385
- For those who started their course in 2026/27, the fee is £1,430
Part-time undergraduate courses
Your tuition fee will vary depending on:
- the number of modules you study in an academic year
- the number of years you study your course over.
The maximum tuition fee for part-time undergraduate courses is £7,335. For further information on your part-time tuition fee, please contact your academic school.
UK home postgraduate students

Paying your tuition fees
How and when you pay will vary according to whether you're a home or international student and the course you're studying. We can't enrol you in the University until you've confirmed how you're going to pay your tuition fees.
If you are paying fees using an undergraduate Tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance
The Student Loans Company will send confirmation of your tuition fee loan to the University once they've approved your application.

If you are paying your own tuition fees
To complete enrolment each year, you need to either pay your tuition fees in full or set up an instalment arrangement.
