Paying your tuition fees
To complete your enrolment, your tuition fees must be paid in full or covered by an approved instalment plan before you arrive at NTU.
The university offers a number of cashless payment options and we are pleased to offer payment options for:
- Undergraduate full-time/placement/home and EU students who do not wish to take out the Student Loan for Tuition Fees
- Other fully or partially self-financing students, including international students.
To be fully enrolled onto your programme, we request that tuition fees are either paid in full or an instalment arrangement is in place prior to enrolling or arriving at the University. Please note that if you have not made arrangements to pay all or any part of your fees, you will receive only Temporary Enrolment status and be given notice to arrange payment.
Important: Full-time undergraduate home students must be fully enrolled to receive Maintenance Grants and Loans.

Pay in full
Payment in full is accepted by credit/debit card or by cheque.

Pay in instalments
- Home, EU and NTIC student fees and contributions to fees of £500 or more. Fees are divided into three equal instalments due at the start of each term.
- International students are required to pay an advanced payment as part of their application for a place on a Course at the University. This payment will be deducted from the total cost and the remainder is divided into two equal instalments.
How to pay
Pay online using our online payment facility, where you can choose to pay in full or in instalments by credit/debit card, or by direct debit from a UK bank account. Paying online is the preferred method and all information is held in an encrypted form in a safe environment.
