Top 5 Clearing FAQs
Clearing is an opportunity to secure a place at a UK university after the UCAS deadline in January of your start year.
It runs every year from July to September and is a late application opportunity for people looking to start university in September.
You can apply when you have your results - you can’t reserve a place in Clearing until you get your results. Most people apply immediately after A-level results are published.
If you are waiting for your results on Thursday 15 August 2024, you can register for NTU Priority.
You can skip the queue on results day, be guaranteed your first-year accommodation and access a range of benefits to help you through the Clearing process.
Clearing opens on Friday 5 July 2024 and closes on Monday 21 October 2024.
The busiest day for Clearing applications will be A-level Results Day on Thursday 15 August 2024. We recommend that you apply as soon as possible as places fill up fast.

NTU Accommodation Services Team can help you find on campus or city-based accommodation for NTU undergraduate students as well as those studying at Confetti (Nottingham) and NTU in Mansfield.
At NTU your first year of accommodation in Nottingham is guaranteed, if you firmly accept a place at the University and request your room by Saturday 31 August 2024.
