Published: 09/05/2023
Scholarships are now available at I-Shou University (ISU), one of NTU's strategic partners.

In partnership with ISU, NTU has been granted some generous scholarships to allow all NTU students to spend up to a semester in the South of Taiwan to learn Mandarin and help ISU with their ambitious plan of becoming a bilingual university by 2028.
This opportunity is part of the Framework of the Excellent Mandarin Programme led by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. NTU and ISU have been in partnership for many years, delivering programmes through the ISU/NTU Education Hub.
ISU is located in Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan, on a beautiful campus with fantastic amenities. During your stay, you will be spending 15 hours per week learning Mandarin and discovering the Chinese culture. You will also be expected to assist the ISU/NTU Education Hub students with their English proficiency for at least 4 hours per week. Depending on your background, you may be able to get additional paid hours to help students with their English.
