Winter break support and services

We have a range of services and support available for you over this winter break.

Whether you're staying in Nottingham or travelling to spend time with family and friends, we'll keep many of our services and facilities open up to Christmas for you.

Including: libraries, gyms, student support services, global lounges and Safe Places.

Plus, plenty of our catering outlets will remain open for food and drink until Friday 22 December before reopening on Wednesday 3 January.

And, for those who may be away from home over the festive period, the ground floor of the Dryden building will also be open every day of the winter break – including Christmas Day. This is a warm, safe space where you can meet up with other students to study, relax, play board games and do wellbeing activities. There will also be free hot chocolate available too – just help yourself. If you want to study, there are spaces with PCs, printing facilities, wireless phone chargers and laptops for loan too.
