Free and low-cost creative activities to try this November

Make your time at NTU more memorable without breaking the bank. NTU Arts has a whole programme of free and low-cost creative activities you can get involved in.

Experiencing everything university life has to offer can be challenging on a student budget, but these free and low-cost activities are a great way to meet students with similar interests, try something new, and prioritise your wellbeing.

Here’s what there is to look forward to over the next few weeks:

• Art gallery visit: Grayson Perry – Man Hours and Paula Rego – Visions of English Literature walkthrough
• Drama Workshop at Nottingham Playhouse

• Heritage Visit: City of Caves Tour
• Free Lunchtime Concerts
• Writing Workshop: Analysing and writing with Iconic Rap, with Musician and Producer Ash Balu
• Writing workshop: Writing inspired by Bonington Gallery's exhibition 'After the End of History: British Working Class Photography 1984 – 2024'
• Gospel Singing Workshop
• Writing Masterclass series: Rap, Rhyme, Rhythm and Repetition with Cappo AKA Dr Paul Adey
