Join us at Nottingham Contemporary for our regular open mic event, celebrating words and music. Relaxed and friendly, come and show your support for all the talented performers. Hosted by NTU Arts, you can expect new and established artists, early evening energy and a warm welcome.
Featured artist – rapper Cappo
Rapper Cappo joins us for a performance of work from his recently released trilogy of albums exploring language, class, masculinity. Cappo is a central figure in rap in Nottingham. Come along and meet him before he delivers a Writing Masterclass on Rap, rhyme, rhythm and repetition for NTU students, staff and alumni on Wednesday 27 November.
If you'd like to share your work, email wrap@ntu.ac.uk for an open mic slot. We welcome all performers including singer songwriters, spoken word artists, story-tellers or actors.
