Represent your Academic School – become an NTSU School Officer

School Officers are students who take the lead on representing their fellow students across their Academic School.

Working with Course Reps, other School Officers and NTSU’s VP Education, you’ll bring together student feedback and help influence conversations and decisions about education and the wider student experience at NTU.

Why become a School Officer?

It’s a chance to make sure students in your Academic School are heard, raise the issues that matter to them and work with NTSU and the University to help improve their experience.

Along the way, you’ll develop skills in communication, leadership and representation, meet students from across your school and gain valuable experience for your CV.

Which School Officer roles are available?

We’re currently recruiting for:

• postgraduate School Officers across all seven Academic Schools
• an undergraduate School Officer for Brackenhurst.

If you’d rather represent students on your own course, you can apply to become an NTSU Course Rep.

Course Reps gather feedback from their coursemates, highlight what’s working well and raise areas that could be improved. You’ll receive training and support from NTSU, with the role typically taking around one to two hours a week.

Course Rep opportunities are available across every course, for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
