Introduction:

The importance of creativity to business success is clear.

And in the current hectic reality we operate in, it can feel like every second counts!

Professionals working in the creative industries are at high risk of burnout.

But the evidence is clear - creative performance and well-being are symbiotic.

Performance feeds well-being and vice versa.

That’s why it’s more crucial than ever for us to learn how to create space for productive creativity that enables us to thrive.

If you feel the creative pressures of your work due to tight deadlines and limited resources or you’d you like to approach your creative work feeling more confident and in control, then this course is for you.

You’ll experience a step-by-step process that will blend theory with pragmatic tools to help you create a range of achievable actions.

  • This course is for anyone working in a design, creative or research agency, as well as sole-trading creative entrepreneurs, who are keen to expand their existing skills in creativity and improve their creative resilience.
  • Rooted in psychology, evidence-based strategies, and accelerated by digital technology, this course will teach you how to be both creatively brilliant and healthy.
  • You will be introduced to a range of tools and frameworks to supercharge your creativity, enabling you to feel more in control.
  • You will learn how to unlock the potential of generative AI tools to boost creative efficiency and workflow.

What you’ll study

On this course, you will:

  • Deconstruct – Until you know who you are you can’t create change. This module will get to the essence of why creativity is important to you and provide an understanding of your creative resilience. Through 360 feedback and reflection, you’ll discover your motivators, strengths and barriers.
  • Reconstruct – Through a combination of lectures and activities, we will train your creative muscles and explore cutting-edge research from neuroscience. This training will enable you to learn how to optimise the psychology of creative performance. You will acquire pragmatic tools, build confidence in using generative AI tools, and develop lifelong practices to manage creative performance and productivity more efficiently.
  • Move forward – You’ll be guided through the process of crafting your personal change pathway for growing your creative potential in the workplace. You'll build your personal, creative toolkit and roadmap for creative change.

How you’re taught

The course will be a combination of lectures, discussions and informal learning spaces that allow for exploration, discussion, critique and shared learning.

Slides, templates and workbooks will be available to download after the course for future reference.
