Five simple ways to boost your wellbeing today
Published: 12/03/2025
To celebrate Wellbeing Week we’ve lined up some free and fun activities to boost your wellbeing, but there are also lots of simple things you can do on your own too.

Why not try at least one of these today:
- Try yoga to relieve stress
Yoga is a fantastic way to unwind and reduce stress. Check out Charlie Follows or Yoga with Adriene for some guided sessions you can do from home. - Embrace the biophilia effect
Nature can have a positive impact on your mental health. Step outside for a walk, enjoy some time in the garden, or even hop on your bike to explore the outdoors. - Spend time with friends
Evidence shows that socialising with friends is beneficial for your health. Plan a meet-up with someone you haven’t seen in a while—it’s a great way to reconnect and boost your mood. - Little prompts, big impact
Sometimes, small actions can make a huge difference to our mood. Check out the Action for Happiness calendars or try the 10 Days of Happiness challenge to brighten your day. - Take a mental break with reading or music
Give your mind some well-deserved rest. Whether it’s diving into a good book or listening to music, NTU Arts has plenty on offer to help you relax and recharge.
Take a moment for yourself this Wellbeing Week — you deserve it!
