Find out what services and support are available on and off campus this summer.
Our campuses remain open outside of term time, but opening hours for our services may differ.

City Campus
Library opening hours for Boots Library and roof garden are available online. The Library will be closed on Monday 25 August 2025 for the Bank Holiday.
You can find further information about online resources, Information Desks, our Library@ Library-Managed Study Spaces, and our 24/7 Study Zones on the Library website.
24/7 Study zones
Library@Dryden
You can access the Dryden 24/7 study zone using your NTU student card.
Library appointments
Library appointments are still available to book online outside of term time.
Employability Hubs and the Student Wardrobe will be open at City Campus every Wednesday, 11 am - 3 pm.
Online and in-person appointments are available for you to book online with our advisors and careers coaches.
City – Level 0, Central Court, Newton/Arkwright Building
- Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am – 5 pm
- Friday, 8.30am – 4.30 pm
Student Support Services are closed on Monday 25 August 2025 for the Bank Holiday.

Weekends: 10 am - 6 pm
Fitness and express classes are available with a reduced timetable.
Closure days:
The sports facilities will be closed on Monday 25 August 2025 for the Bank Holiday.

There are also Play for Fun sessions taking place over summer, for more details visit the Play for Fun web page.
Monday to Friday
- Bonington Café; 8.30 am to 5 pm.
- City Refectory; 11.30 am to 2 pm.
- Café Newton; 8.30 am to 5 pm.
- Antenna; 8 am to 6 pm.
- Confetti student Café; 8 am to 6 pm (until 17 July 2025 and then closed)
Alternatively you can visit the NTSU food outlets and vending machines across our campus.
Services will not be available on Monday 25 August 2025 due to the Bank Holiday.

City SU Bar and Diner
Closed for the duration of the summer.
Music Centre
You can find details of Music Centre opening hours over the summer online.
Practice rooms can be booked using this form, subject to availability.
The Music Centre will be closed during Graduation ceremonies and on Monday 25 August 2025 for the Bank Holiday.

Clifton Campus
Clifton Library opening hours are available online. The Library will be closed on Monday 25 August 2025 for the Bank Holiday.

24/7 Study zones
The 24/7 Study Zone within Clifton Library is open for study, IT access, and printing on a 24/7 basis. You need your NTU student card ID to access this space, which can be reached via a dedicated entrance when the main library entrance is closed.

NTU Mansfield
Mansfield University Centre and the Teaching and Learning Centre will be open 7.30 am to 6.30 pm on weekdays over the summer.

NTU London
NTU London will be open to students until 31 July 2025 between 10 am and 6 pm.
From 1 August to 5 September 2025, we'll be closed to students to allow work to spaces and other operational activities.
