Introduction:

The world of FinTech is constantly evolving. To get ahead in the industry, you need to stay on top of the latest innovations and technologies. On this three-week course from Nottingham Business School, you’ll learn about current and emerging financial technologies. From AI and machine learning to cryptocurrency and big data, you’ll explore major innovations driving the FinTech revolution.

You’ll begin with a survey of the financial technologies landscape. You’ll learn what FinTech is, why it matters, and how it has transformed our daily lives. After this, you’ll delve deeper into the technology itself. Week 2 will look at key developments driving digitisation, including decentralised finance, open digital banking, and artificial intelligence.

In the third week of the course, you’ll explore the impact of FinTech on society and the environment. You’ll learn how new technologies could help to improve financial inclusion and promote sustainable finance. By the end of the course, you’ll have a knowledge of the technologies making waves in the financial sector, and your own ideas about where FinTech could go in future.
