Tina Canton

Role

Tina Canton is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences.

Tina is also the Chief riding instructor for the BSc course and Module Leader for Health and Management. Tina is also the  Sandwich year placement tutor for Equine, Animal and Zoo degrees.

Career overview

International event rider and showjumper. Runs Tinderbox Sport Horses – competition and training yard. Represented GB as a young rider for eventing and Showjumping as a Veteran! BHSI level 5 professional coach. Centre10 Advance coach and TTest certified coach.

External activity

Active in the industry – runs own business, still competing and training freelance. Coach to a member of the Hong Kong team – represented her country at the Asian games in China.
