Emily is a lecturer, teaching primarily on BA Product Design at NTU, in addition to delivering Adobe Creative Suite sessions across all 3 Product Design courses. Emily is currently Year Lead for 1st Year BA Product Design, in addition to supporting dissertation students.

Career overview

Emily has a degree in BA (Hons) Product Design from Leeds Beckett University. During her time at LBU, Emily’s focus was primarily on Maternal Healthcare Products, including “Bloom”, a project won at RSA Student Design Award (2017) and a Creative Conscience Award (2017). This project gave her the opportunity to secure work experience at GlaxoSmithKline, where she primarily worked on packaging and graphics. Following her time at GSK, Emily studied MA Product Design: Products and Furniture at NTU, again focussing on Maternal Healthcare Products.

Since 2018, Emily has proceeded to be a lecturer at NTU, working across all 3 Product Design courses, primarily working with 1st year students both in studio and in CAD sessions delivering Adobe Creative Suite. More recently, she is now Year Lead for 1st Year BA Product Design.
