Career overview
Since 2007, Parisa has built a career in event production, talent scouting, PR, marketing, and funding bid writing.
In 2022 she won the AIM Music Awards 'East Midlands Local Hero', as nominated by Dean Jackson, BBC Introducing.
In September 2022 she became a lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, gaining an FHEA (Fellowship of Higher Education Associate) in 2024.
She has produced live music events that spotlight emerging talent, helping artists build sustainable careers. Through Acoustickle, she platforms music and musicians of Black origin, including jazz, R&B, neo soul, and hip-hop, as well as any artist with captivating energy.

Acoustickle is a live music platform showcasing independent, emerging, and underground talent. What sets it apart is the immersive event experience—transforming venues with handmade décor and providing a platform for local entrepreneurs through pop-up opportunities.
As the founder and managing director, Parisa brings an entrepreneurial mindset to every aspect of the business, shaping ideas into a thriving enterprise. Her role spans talent scouting, artist management, event curation, and strategic marketing.

- Spotlighting emerging artists, notably contributing to the careers of Jake Bugg, Georgie Rose, and Saint Raymond;
- Scouting and booking top talent in soul, jazz, R&B, and hip-hop;
- Collaborating with independent labels and music managers to source talent globally;
- Partnering with visual artists, designers, and vendors to enhance event experiences;
- Creating and executing digital and real-world marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and press outreach;
- Writing engaging content across platforms—from blogs and newsletters to press releases and ad scripts;
- Managing Acoustickle’s website, including content creation and copywriting.
Beyond the UK, Acoustickle has built international connections, participating in the Midlands Trade & Investment Mission to China & Ningbo Cultural Industries Fair and developing business opportunities in Paris, Lisbon, London, Birmingham, Ningbo, and Shanghai.
Parisa is an experienced consultant, writer, and project leader with a strong track record in fundraising, marketing, and community development. Over the years, she has worked with charities, creative organisations, and social enterprises, helping them grow, secure funding, and amplify their impact.
Her work is rooted in strategic thinking, storytelling, and community engagement, helping organisations bring their vision to life while securing the resources they need to thrive.
