Role
Hetti is a Senior Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and TESOL and is a member of the team responsible for the In-sessional Academic English Language Support programmes at the university. She is also the Co-ordinator for Academic English language support provision for the School of Social Sciences and the Nottingham Institute of Education.
Hetti has worked as an EFL/EAP teacher in several countries, including Singapore and Belgium and more recently Further and Higher Education institutions in the UK. She has a strong interest in English language for Art and Design, having originally trained in that discipline. Other areas of interest include online teaching materials design where she is keen to develop learner autonomy and promote learner motivation through embedded elements of the materials.
She has the Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA) and an MA in English Language Teaching. She has also obtained FHEA status.
