Role
David is the Chairman of national law firm Geldards LLP which has offices in Nottingham, Derby, Cardiff and London. He is an experienced lawyer with expertise in private client, local government and property law, and is a highly regarded business advisor in general management and business development.
David’s dedication to the region and its development is shown through the number of non-executive and trustee positions he holds within the East Midlands. These include being Deputy Chair of D2N2 LEP, Chair of East Midlands Business Group Limited and Chair of the Arkwright Society.
David joined the Board of Governors in September 2018. He uses his experience, expertise and contacts to further enhance the University’s growth, supporting the students within it and the city and wider region.
