Philip Bell-Brown is a member of NTU's Board of Governors.
Career overview
Philip is an experienced board-level property director who has worked for several leading UK companies with diverse domestic and international property portfolios, including Dixons Retail PLC, Dixons Carphone PLC, Sainsbury’s and Halfords. Philip established BB Elements Ltd in 2019 which provides real estate consultancy, investment advice and direct property investment. Philip was appointed as the Property Director at Boots UK & ROI in April 2025.
Philip has held various Non-Executive Director positions since 2008, including as: Chair of Accessible Retail; a member of the Advisory Board to the Department for Education; and Chair of the British Retail Consortium Property and Place Member Group. Philip is currently a Trustee and Chair of the Housing Committee of The Retail Trust.
Philip is an alumnus of Nottingham Trent University where he received a degree in Urban Estate Management in 1994. Philip enjoys both football and cricket and is a member of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
