Hai Dang Nguyen is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management. She is a UK ambassador for the HR Division of the US Academy of Management.
Research areas
Hai Dang's research interests centre around HRM, where she primarily focuses on the two organisational aspects that are (1) the quality of work and (2) how employees are motivated at work.
Her research investigates formative processes deployed in organisations that value individual and team performances. She also investigates the role of line managers in boosting positive attitudes and behaviours such as resilience, innovation, and creative ideas from employees.
Her work has been published in Journal of Business Management and presented at leading international conferences such as the Academy of Management and British Academy of Management.
