Jimmy first joined NTU as a Research Associate in 2016. A year later he transitioned into a part-time teaching post, which later culminated in a fulltime post where he led the BABM (In-Company) Managing Strategic Change module and became involved in a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules. He has recently completed his APA (Academic Professional Apprenticeship) programme.

Career overview

Jimmy is a Lecturer in Management and teaches strategy and research methods at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels for the Management Division at NBS. Previously he was a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham. He has attained over 10 years of management experience in the restaurant sector and spent 3 years in a CRM role in the telecommunications industry.

Research areas

Jimmy completed his PhD in Digital Economy from the University of Nottingham in 2016. His doctoral research explored the interplay of trust and workflow in web-based creative communities and he has research interests in digital trust, security and privacy.
