Role

Karoliina Pitt is a senior lecturer in human resource management and organisational behaviour and the Assistant Course Leader for first year BA (Hons) Business students.

Karoliina teaches across the undergraduate platform at Nottingham Business School. She is a Module Leader for final year comparative and international management module, which is a core and option module for many courses at NBS and Nottingham Law School. Karoliina also teaches strategic human resource management, managing and organising for human resources, and foundations of managing and organising.

Karoliina is also a Course Tutor and a Placement Contact Tutor, which involves pastoral care of first year students and students out on placements.

Career overview

Karoliina has been at NBS since 2015 and progressed in that time from an Associate Lecturer to Lecture to her current post as Senior Lecturer. Before joining academia Karoliina worked for example in hospitality management in the UK and Australia. Karoliina has also worked and studied in her native Finland and in Italy.
