Sidra Ahtesham

Role

Sidra Ahtesham is a Lecturer in Project Management. Sidra's role involves:

• Designing, planning and delivering lectures, tutorials and other teaching and learning activities as required by the Faculty.
• Designing assessments and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
• Providing timely and constructive feedback to students
• Providing academic support and guidance to students as necessary
• Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate and necessary.
• Keeping up to date with best practice in teaching and learning, and ensuring that teaching reflects best practice and embeds technologies that enhance the learning experience.
• Contributing to the design, development, delivery, review and enhancement of programmes of study within the Faculty and across NTU as a whole.
• Attending meetings as required, and developing productive working relationships within the various teams being engaged with.
• Participating in internal and external events, such as programme reviews, open days, outreach activities, and partner and internship visits
• Undertaking a reflective programme of staff development which includes teaching observations, directed study, workshop participation and experiential learning.
• Supporting and engaging in the creation, application and/or dissemination of new knowledge in field of project management and/or in higher education practice
• Participating in the NTU’s performance management programme, meeting a range of clearly defined objectives for student outcomes, student satisfaction, retention and attendance.
• Acting as a Module Leader and undertaking other administrative/management duties, commensuration with the level of the appointment, and as determined by the line manager.
