Role
Mike works in the Apprenticeship team as a Business Account Manager, responsible for the Level 6 Civil Engineering and Level 7 Architecture Degree Apprenticeship courses. This includes a business development role focusing on the promotion of the two apprentice standards to employers, plus managing the ongoing relationship with employers once apprentices have commenced their course. As well as this external focus, Mike engages with the respective Civil Engineering and Architecture academic teams in ADBE as well as other externally facing teams including Employability.
Career overview
Mike joined NTU in January 2022, following a career in marketing, economic development and business engagement, most recently as the Regional Director for the Royal Institute of British Architects in the East Midlands, coincidentally based in the Arkwright Building on NTU’s City campus.
