Role

Alan Dury is a Lecturer for postgraduate and undergraduate teaching of law; Applied Legal Knowledge; Solicitors' and Barristers' professional qualification training. He is co-course leader for NTU's LPC and SQE courses. He is also co-module leader for Applied Legal Knowledge (LLB); for SQE Dispute Resolution and LPC Advanced Civil Litigation

Career overview

Alan qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and specialises in civil litigation. He trained at DLA Piper LLP, becoming a partner in 2000. He has been a partner at Hill Dickson LLP and Kennedys LLP. He joined NTU as a lecturer in 2021, having previously acted as an external examiner at NTU .
