Role

Dr Cushley-Spendiff’s research assistant role requires him to aid in the research outputs of the university. This includes conducting literature reviews, source-mining, Copyediting at the Nottingham Law Journal & the Journal of Rights and Justice, providing analysis to assist the research teams, and organisation of research events such as conferences. Alongside this, Dr Cushley-Spendiff assists the university’s teaching staff as an Hourly-Paid Lecturer, as well as works on his own personal research outputs.

Career overview

Prior to Nottingham Trent, Dr Cushley-Spendiff completed his PhD at Lancaster University in 2022, entitled The Quixotism of a Relationally Constituted Contract Law. While at Lancaster he was also a Assistant Dean for Lonsdale College at Lancaster University.

Dr Cushley-Spendiff’s research interests include: Contract Law, International Commercial Law, Corporate Governance (both domestic and international), and Equity and Trusts.
