Role

Ryan Murray is a Principal Lecturer at the Nottingham Law School as well as a Learning and Teaching Manager.

Ryan leads on projects to enhance teaching practice across the undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio of courses. He also develops and manages the School’s Learning and Teaching Strategy.

He is a module leader of Contract Law across on the LLB Full Time and Distance Learning Courses.

Ryan has experience of teaching Contract Law, Company Law, Business Law and the Law of Evidence. He has taught across many programmes at the University, to both home and international students, and has experience of online and blended delivery methods.

Career overview

Prior to taking on this role, Ryan has had a number of different roles in NLS since joining in 2004. Previously, he was the course leader for the LLB (Hons) Full Time and Distance Learning Courses. He also acted as the School's International Manager, developing routes of study and support for international students. He is a long-standing module leader for Contract Law and in addition to his teaching, Ryan publishes a student focused textbook introducing the fundamental principles of Contract Law. Ryan's current role as Learning and Teaching Manager allows him to work across the School to develop and share good practice in relation to learning, teaching and staff development.
