Role

Shajid is a UK Barrister and currently a Lecturer at Nottingham Law School. He teaches on the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Law courses. In 2021 Shajid joined Nottingham Law School and he currently teaches Criminal Law, Contract Law and International, EU and Comparative Law on the full-time LLB courses. Shajid is the co-module leader for Contract Law and Problem Solving. He is also involved in International student recruitment.

Career overview

Shajid is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and was called to the Bar in 2013. He practised overseas in both civil and criminal law. His specialisations included Company Law, International Commercial law, Marine Insurance.

Shajid has been teaching on Undergraduate and Postgraduate Law courses since 2013. He has been also responsible for international student recruitment and was Programme Leader for Distance Learning Law Programmes.
