Nikolas is a Lecturer in Psychology in the Department of Psychology, teaching on our undergraduate and Masters courses.

Research areas

Nikolas’ research interests are:

  • Psychology
  • Audiovisual perception
  • Memory
  • Learning

He uses experimental and quantitative research methods in project supervision, and is open to any type of quantitative research project (but he has a preference for more cognitively orientated research ideas). Nikolas is particularly keen to explore how visual and auditory modalities can interact in terms of learning and memory.

Research projects:

  • Improving voice identification procedures
  • Manipulating audiovisual information in age estimation
