Career overview

Sally-Anne finished her PhD at University of Leeds in 2022 on ‘Bisexual Women’s Experiences of Intimate Partner Violence’. She was a member of teaching staff at both University of Leeds and The Open University. She joined NTU in 2023.

Her research interests are in sexualities, transgender studies, violence against women and girls, and feminist criminology.

She is passionate about inclusive teaching practices and specialises in the areas of research methods, ethics, sex and sexualities, and interpersonal violence.
