Event details
During this taster day you’ll be practically exploring what it's like to study an Animal and Wildlife Science course at University.
Join us at our beautiful countryside campus set within an idyllic 200-hectare farm and woodland estate. You'll take part in several interactive activities and seminars in our industry standard laboratories to help you decide which discipline you might want to study. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions to current students and find out from academics what diverse and varied pathways these courses open up.
You'll have a guided tour around our brand new Lyth building, which has recently won the RIBA East Midlands Building of the Year Award (2022) and visit our onsite animal unit, housing over 250 animals and more than 70 species. There will also be a chance to get up close and personal with wildlife in our fascinating owl pellet dissection. As one of the most sustainable universities in the world, we offer a picturesque and unique outdoor classroom, perfect for studying Animal Science and Wildlife subjects. This experience can also help your Personal Statement stand out.
The day is free of charge with lunch provided.
