About the speaker - Rob Barker

Rob Barker has built a distinguished career in the health, fitness, and sports industries, rising from a London-based sales representative to become the global CEO of Precor Inc, a US-based leader in fitness equipment and technology with annual revenues of 500 million dollars. Rob also served for over a decade on the Executive Board of Amer Sports, a global sporting goods company with revenues exceeding €5 billion, encompassing renowned brands such as Arc’teryx, Wilson, Salomon, Atomic, Suunto, Mavic, Enve, Peak Performance, and Precor.

Currently, Rob is an entrepreneur in the fitness industry, serving as a shareholder and adviser to Holmes Place Portugal, the leading premium health club chain in Portugal, as well as TRIB3, a franchise business for the TRIB3 and Pilat3s brands. He is also involved with EGYM, a Munich-based provider of fitness technology, hardware, and marketplace services valued at over 1 billion dollars.

Rob graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc in Sport (Administration and Science) from 1985 to 1988. An accomplished athlete, he rowed at a high level and occasionally participates in Ironman triathlons.
