Join us for our monthly networking breakfast at the Dryden Enterprise Centre. If you’re keen to expand your business contacts and get new ideas, this session will help you get there.

Designed for start-ups, established SME’s, freelancers and business leaders, during this session you’ll get chance to share skills, connect with peers, learn more about how you can work with NTU and enjoy a light breakfast.

Our networking sessions are open to entrepreneurs and founders no matter if you’ve been involved with NTU before.

Get your day off to a great start with breakfast, networking, and skills sharing at April’s DEC Connect. This month, we'll be diving into not one but two areas of business:

We'll be joined by  Debbie Clarke (aka Debbiedoodah) – an 11x award-winning business coach and strategist – to help you build a powerful personal brand that attracts the right customers. Debbie will share her top tips on:

  • Defining your unique brand and standing out in your industry
  • Promoting yourself with confidence to grow your audience
  • Winning the kind of clients you actually want to work with
Followed by a talk about  the world of social media and online community building with a member of the Social Media Team at Nottingham Trent University. They will share expert insight on:
  • Creating audience-focused content that drives engagement
  • Growing and managing online communities to build brand awareness
  • Exploring new platforms like TikTok and how they can help you reach fresh audiences

We understand how important it is to connect with other businesses, to link up with peers and share ideas and to grow your customer base. That’s why we’ve created these informal breakfast events to foster collaboration and connectivity – and give you a chance to meet up with people who are just starting out on their business journey – alongside seasoned entrepreneurs.
