Join Global Lounge and NTU Arts for a celebration of Africa Day with an African themed workshop, lunch and crafts.
Programme
- 12-1pm: Join writer, poet and lecturer, Abíọ́dún Ọlátòkunbọ̀ Abdul for a Yorùbá/Nigeria/Africa/Diaspora YNAD talk and workshop - African Travel Adventures: Palaces, Languages and Booming Business. This workshop focuses on the cultural and social themes related to the African continent, architecture, tourism, engineering, art and poetry.
- 1-2pm: African themed lunch
- 2-4pm: African themed creative workshop with artist Mellonie Page from New Art Exchange. Explore your creativity in this guided, fun and relaxed session that is suitable for all skill levels
This activity is run as a collaboration between Global Lounge, providing exciting cultural and study abroad opportunities to internationalise your CV and broaden your global outlook, and NTU Arts, the University's extra-curricular and public arts programme.
