About Susan Hallam

Susan Hallam MBE is a digital marketing entrepreneur, consultant and speaker. She founded Hallam in Nottingham in 1999, growing it from a one-woman startup to one of the UK’s most respected independent digital agencies. A former Senior Lecturer in Computing at Nottingham Trent University, Susan received her MBE for services to enterprise and innovation in 2018. The agency she founded became an Employee Ownership Trust in 2025. She is a dual British-American national who divides her time between Nottingham and Florida.
