    Professor Geraldine Brady's Inaugural Lecture

    Synthesising sociological and social work research: social issues, social justice and serendipity

    In this lecture Professor Brady will present on the threads that run through her 25 year research career. Driven by a passion to address injustice and inequality in the lives of children, young people and their families she will provide illustrations from children who are neurodivergent, young mothers, young people who have been subjected to sexual abuse and exploitation and from families in contact with the children’s social care system, sharing her motivations and lessons learnt from the process as well as the findings of research.
