We’re excited to announce that NTU staff and students can join a free writing masterclass led by WRAP’s (Writing, Reading and Pleasure) featured writer and author of ‘The 392’ – Ashley Hickson Lovence. This event is free and will take place online.

Want to improve your creative writing skills? Head to our free online writing masterclass on Thursday 25 February, hosted by WRAP Featured Writer Ashley Hickson-Lovence. Ashley will be sharing his top tips for writing and publishing, as well as some of his favourite writer prompts. Bring your pen and get started on a new writing journey.

Ashley is the author of  ‘The 392’, which is an explosive novel that follows a bus on its journey through London, the story is told through the charismatic characters onboard. Ashley was also a former teacher with an interest in inspiring reluctant readers, Ashley is currently writing about Uriah Rennie, the Premier League's first black referee.

WRAP is part of Curated & Created – NTU’s Culture Programme. It offers students, staff and the public writing workshops and book groups, meets ups, masterclasses and talks from readers and authors. If there’s an opportunity to celebrate words and voices, WRAP will be part of it.

As this term’s WRAP Featured Writer we’ll be welcoming Ashley to events and activities across the term, including our student Currently Reading Bookgroup in March and our public WRAP Live! event.
