Careers Fairs and Events

Our careers fairs and events present you with a platform to promote your vacancies, build brand awareness and interact both physically and virtually with your future talent.

At NTU, we believe in success for all and value the time and expertise that employers bring to our students’ development, therefore, there is no charge associated with our employability engagement events.

2024-25 Careers Fairs

Students speaking to employers at job fair

The timeline for the 2024-25 careers fair series is outlined below.

NTU careers fairs take place in-person, across a number of our campuses, simultaneously using our established online system as a platform for students to prepare for the events and research exhibitors.

Our fairs are open to NTU students and graduates from all courses and disciplines to attend. On the day, we invite you to explore all the possibilities and start the conversation with future employees from backgrounds you may not have traditionally considered.

Embracing Sustainability

We have a longstanding commitment to address sustainability during the planning and delivery of our careers fair series. This year we are exploring even further how this action can be improved.

We also recognise the business imperative for employers to act on sustainability, not only to help their business succeed, but to help them attract and retain early careers talent.

Find out more about how we are Embracing Sustainability at NTU careers fairs, and what your business can do towards this priority, on our brand new webpage:

Tailored university engagement creates sustainable talent pipelines

There are a number of additional ways to raise the profile of your organisation, promote your recruitment opportunities and engage with our cohorts, both on-campus and online.

We don’t offer a one-size fits all menu of engagement activities. Instead, we are committed to understanding exactly what your organisation needs and providing tailored support and cost-effective solutions to create sustainable relationships. These interactions will be mutually beneficial – solving a business challenge or resource shortage in your team, whilst equipping students and graduates with practical skills and pertinent industry insight to enhance their employability journeys at NTU.

Engaging with NTU Employability will lay the foundations to create a pipeline to student and graduate talent that meets the needs of your organisation.

Examples of ways employers have previously engaged with NTU talent include:

  • Practice Assessment Centres
  • Employer presentations
  • In-curriculum projects and challenges
  • Short-term placements.
