Love Enterprise 2023

Love Enterprise is a day to inform and inspire NTU students about entrepreneurship and enterprise. Hosted at the DEC, the day will consist of talks, workshops, networking and peer-to-peer skill sharing

Interested in starting your own business, already side-hustling or want to strengthen your entrepreneurial skills? If you answered yes to any of these, make sure Love Enterprise is in your calendar. Finish the term with a blast and join us on 22nd May at the Dryden Enterprise Centre to ask the business questions you've been pondering, gain inspiration and guidance on your next steps, and make valuable connections.

Launch It Grant pitches

9 am to 12 pm

Finalists of the Launch it Grant (competition) will present a short pitch on their business idea to Enterprise Advisors for a chance to win £500 (details will be sent to applicants with next steps).

Arrive at the DEC, grab some lunch and hear from our new Student Enterprise Senior Coordinator, Will Chew.

NTU Enactus workshop

Meet Enactus NTU, a group of students designing and running social enterprises tackling knife crime, sexual harassment and climate change

Hustle Hotspots

Skill swap sessions to highlight personal and professional areas that you would like to develop in. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share your strengths and make valuable connections with others who are working on similar challenges.

Final Entrepreneurs Club session and Launch It Grant winners announcement

5 to 7 pm

At the final Entrepreneurs Club we’ve invited special guests to share the lessons they have learned, inspiring stories and start-up tips. Hear from  Megan Scaddam – Co-director of Doughnotts, Georgina Fairhall – Founder and CEO of WAC (Work and Communication) and Ryon Ishfaq, founder of Slice 'n' Brew.

The event will be wrapped up by announcing the winners of the Launch It Grant, with over £3,500 of prize money to be awarded!
