Introduction:

Project and contract management is the study of planning, designing, procuring and administering construction contracts.

You will study project management methods and the design of industry-standard forms of contract and assess the most appropriate mechanisms for dealing with disputes.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • advise on the most appropriate procurement route and form of contract for a given project
  • articulate solutions to complex problems relating to the contractual administration
  • synthesize knowledge across a broad range of contractual, health and safety and sustainability issues impacting on design and administration
  • advise on the appropriate course of action during various RIBA stages of a project
  • generate new ideas, innovations and solutions for problems
